Alpha Steppa

Alpha Steppa (Steppas Records / Dub Dynasty) has over 20 years of experience in dub and sound system culture. Growing up as the son and nephew of pioneering UK dub duo Alpha & Omega (Greensleeves), his education began at an early age, learning the foundations of dub production and live mixing alongside his father and aunt.

Since then, he has taken that knowledge around the world, performing on hundreds of sound systems and stages, producing an extensive catalogue of music and developing his own distinctive approach to modern roots and dub. Through Steppas Records and his work as Alpha Steppa and Dub Dynasty, he has collaborated with, produced and helped introduce international audiences to many incredible and now well-loved artists.

His work brings together decades of hands-on experience in the studio and on sound systems, combining the foundations of traditional dub with electronic production, experimentation and a deep understanding of how music translates from the studio to the dance.
